2. Offline First & Privacy by Design
QR & Barcode Scanneris built with a "Privacy by Design" model. The application functions primarily as an offline utility tool. Your scanning activities, custom QR creation, and scan history are processed entirely locally on your physical device. We do not transmit your local scan history to external servers.
3. Camera Access Permissions
To scan barcodes and QR codes, the application requires permission to access your device's camera. This access is utilized solely for analyzing optical feeds to decode codes. The feed is processed purely on-device and is never captured, stored, or transmitted.
4. Information Collected During Lookup
When you perform a Product Country Lookup, the application transmits the scanned numerical code to public online APIs to fetch manufacturer information. No personally identifiable information (PII) or device identifiers are bundled with these lookups.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Our application uses Google AdMob to deliver advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details on how they collect and utilize identifier data.
